History Cluster

The history cluster at the Ludwig Boltzmann Society is engaged with the exploration and teaching of European history, with an emphasis on 2twentieth-century history and a special focus on  changes in  cultural history and  methodological innovations. The aim of the cluster is to develop greater networking between the four institutes and to support the joint study of intersections in research on democracy and democratic crises, ethnocide and the Holocaust, and war and its consequences, as well as migration and social and cultural history.
